Why do Americans die
on foreign soil?

Because you and I got in our cars
to drive somewhere—
work, school, Circle K

They die because we drive
instead of walking,
riding a bike, a horse
or staying home.

We all have blood on our hands.

We get in a car
that burns The Fuel—

The Fuel
that we covet so much
we send soldiers, our children,
to procure it, to pirate it.

The Fuel
that we covet so much
we are willing to bomb villages
to obtain it, to control it.

If there was no demand,
there would be no war.
