Hi!
I’m Bruno Talerico.
In 2009 I started writing poetry as therapy for PTSD. Over time, therapy became a habit, then an addiction to wordplay.
My inspiration comes from nature and the little voice inside. I write mostly free verse, although occasionally I like to explore other forms.
My work has been published in Figments of the Soul anthology, Cholla Needles, Mythzine, Hallozine, Mirage, Ultramarine, and my work in progress, Borrowed Time, has been selected for inclusion in the inaugural issue of Unpublishable for the Shared Drafts project.
Last year I participated in the Stafford Challenge—a poem a day for one year possibly a book will result.
In addition to a second Stafford challenge, I have begun writing a memoir. When I’m not writing, reading, hiking, or gardening, I’m probably at an open mic in Sierra Vista or Bisbee.
This where I post my poetry and images.
Constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged.
Enjoy!
