Desert Dweller

Nature’s rain
should only be stopped
when it threatens flood and destruction.

Rain is necessary for growth.
Flowers only bloom
if they have both rain and sun.

is first, to listen to the pain
in the hearts of friends, strangers, and lovers,

then stop the pain not by condemning
but by forgiving their weaknesses.
